As the UK’s only company formation agent certified as a B Corp, we believe business should be a force for good. Supporting organisations like Young Camden Foundation is one of the ways we give back to the communities around us.
The Annual Members Summer Party brought together charities, trustees, businesses and community organisations from across the borough, celebrating the people behind YCF’s work while looking ahead to the charity’s next chapter.
It also helped us better understand YCF’s priorities and the different ways businesses can support its work across Camden.

What is the Young Camden Foundation?
Young Camden Foundation is Camden’s membership and youth infrastructure charity, supporting organisations that work with children and young people across the borough. Since launching in 2017, it has helped strengthen the local voluntary sector by securing funding and encouraging collaboration.
Today, YCF works with more than 175 member organisations and 165 partner organisations, helping more children and young people across Camden access the clubs and support they need to thrive.
Around 40 guests attended this year’s event, including representatives from charities, community organisations, and YCF’s Board of Trustees.
Photographs displayed around the room celebrated the children and young people whose lives have been positively impacted by the foundation and its member organisations.

Inside the event: performances, raffles, and shared stories
From live performances to fundraising raffles, the evening showcased the community behind the Young Camden Foundation.
Two young performers took to the stage during the evening. One performed an Elton John classic, while the other showcased an original song. The performances were warmly received and brought plenty of energy to the evening.
Guests also took part in five fundraising raffles, with prizes ranging from restaurant experiences to tickets for art exhibitions. Between draws, attendees had time to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new people from across Camden’s voluntary sector.
Several speakers reflected on YCF’s journey so far and its ambitions for the future.

Meeting the people behind Young Camden Foundation’s mission
One of the highlights of the evening was the opportunity to speak with some of the people leading the Young Camden Foundation’s work.
Honor Wilson-Fletcher explained that securing additional funding remains a priority as YCF continues supporting organisations across the borough. She also spoke about the different ways businesses can get involved, from volunteering to sharing their expertise.
We’re excited to continue working with the Young Camden Foundation over the coming year and to play a small part in supporting the charity as it celebrates this important milestone.
Martin Pratt, Chair of Young Camden Foundation, also discussed the charity’s upcoming 10th anniversary. He encouraged businesses to get involved by sharing ideas or helping make the celebrations a memorable milestone for YCF’s members, partners, and supporters.
We also met Emma Sainsbury from Brandon Centre, who shared her experiences of working with the Young Camden Foundation and the important role it plays in bringing charities together across Camden. Hearing how the foundation supports organisations across the borough reinforced the impact of its work.

Supporting the Young Camden Foundation beyond the event
Our relationship with the Young Camden Foundation didn’t begin with the Summer Party. Over the past year, we’ve supported the foundation through charitable donations and employee volunteering, including our company volunteering days to buy and wrap Christmas presents for local children and young people. The event gave us a better understanding of the charity’s priorities and how we can continue supporting its work.
As the UK’s only company formation agent certified as a B Corp, supporting our communities is an important part of how we do business.

We look forward to continuing our support as the Young Camden Foundation marks its 10th anniversary and continues creating opportunities for children and young people across Camden.
